![]() Dreamcast: Totally different CPU architecture (SH4 risk chip - requires cycle accurate op code emulation), has a PowerVR GPU (the first and only which does tiled based rendering - requires sophisticated GPU emulation) while on the other hand GameCube/Wii uses the exact same PowerPC core (a G3 derivate - where the Wii/GC's version has some extensions - properly VMX/vector extensions), the GPU is a standard fixed function set GPU - no shader support. ![]()
